Mountain Ridge Middle School Band

We will be using Standard of Excellence method books for 6th and 7th grades.  6th grade will be using Book 1 (red), 7th will be using Book 2 ( blue).  The 8th grade will be using Accent on Achievement Book 3.  You can purchase them at the rental night or online.  Amazon will sell them used for only several dollars.  6th and 7th grade are not required to get the enhanced version of the books because the CD accompaniment tracks can be found online for free at kjos.com/band/soe_accomp.htm.  These tracks will allow you to tune and play along with the "band" adjusting the speed of the music as you need.  It is a fun way to practice and I hope you will utilize this valuable tool.
